An exquisite Porcelaine de Paris white ceramic figurine of Russian prima ballerina Anna Pavlova (1881-1931). The statuette is signed by French sculptress and ceramist Genevieve Granger (1877-1967). Underneath the base of the figurine, the previous owner had glued a cut piece of newspaper with an article about the death of "La Pavlova" in The Hague.
Condition: Very good. Minor wear at bottom edge of base.
