A colorful pair of Art Deco enameled glass vases signed by Becker and Richie, French circa 1930. Each vase has a short base and a wide, low belly that gently tapers as it goes up. The necks hit their narrowest just below a slightly flared rim. Much of the glass bodies are painted yellow with a sponged texture. Clusters of stylized bright yellow and red flowers are grouped near the neck, their green leaves and runners with tiny buds reaching down the body of the vase. Blue and metallic gold paint spread up the neck to meet the painted black rim. Both vases are signed “Becken”, for Becken and Richie, who were well known Parisian enamelers.
Condition: Very good.
