A vintage dressmaker's mannequin by Buste Girard in Paris, French circa 1920. European size 44 in stitched tan linen with a maple finial at the neck and an iron stand over a tripood base. Brass screw below the dress form for adjusting height. Stamped at bottom front with brand logo, a small EG in brackets at the center of the chest, and a 44 at the neckline. Great for display use or as a functioning dress form.
Condition: Very good vintage condition. A little staining on linen as well as some chalk marks from its years of use. Nice, tight stitching throughout, hand sewn seam on the left side. One small stretched pin hole on the right at waist.
