A beautiful 1930's Art Deco clock in Languedoc red and beige Breche marbles. The diamond shaped dial and movement are housed in a glass enclosure, flanked by red marble columns with molded plinths and capitals. Stepped Breche and Languedoc marbles at the top and bottom. A silver alloy metal sculpture graces the top, with a dancing girl and a handsome saluki dog. The piece rests on four bronze ball feet. The silvered metal pendulum runs an 8 day movement.
Condition: Very good vintage condition. needs to be regulated and serviced. A few tiny corner chips on the marble and very light tarnishing on the silver metal, typical for its age and use. Mechanism needs to be checked.
