A 19th century decorative (non-operable) wooden clock from the Black Forest region of Germany, circa late 1800s. Rustic wooden housing contains the old metal gears and parts, the bell and striker still located on the top. The large wooden face has a colorful transfer decoration graced with hand-painted details. Aged metal hands and a long, delicate chain finish out the piece. Highly decorative.
Condition: Age appropriate wear on the face. One side of the housing is gone, making the mechanism visible. Rust on metal. Not functioning.
