Two large, strapping patinated bronze Art Deco candelabra with five lights apiece, circa 1930. The pair are cast in dark, patinated bronze and have a beautiful underlying red tone. Great form, with understated details. Baluster style central shafts have tiny beaded detailing and incised lines, tapering at the bottom. A single candle holder is perched high at the center and four more sit atop scrolling arms. All have a wide dish with beaded edges that supports a flared cup with another beaded rim and fluted detail on the bottom half. The elegant bases have a single row of beading at their edge and a wide band of ribbing. Their simplicity lends them a contemporary feel.
Condition: Great vintage condition, just a few minor scratches and some discoloration.
