circa: late 1800s
A beautiful pair of table lamps from the Napoleon III period that were originally oil lamps. The lamps are made of white crackle glaze ceramic with gilded bronze accents. The elephant heads and east asian cloud motifs are typical from the French Colonial influence of the late 1800s. Each lamp has been rewired for three-way bulbs and the new 14" shade is ecru linen.
Condition: Very good. Minor tarnishing on gilded bronze. Rewired to US standards.
