A vintage French chinoiserie style painted ceramic urn lamp, 20th century. Ceramic urn mounted on gilded brass base with brass fixture. Painted in a bevy of bright colors, the ceramic has a variety of floral decoration with greens, pinks and blue set against a yellow background. Brass edging on the urn portion echoes the gilded brass base, with its beaded edging and stepped geometric bottom. The pleated linen shade is 19.00" diam.
Condition: Repaired hairline crack on ceramic, age appropriate tarnishing on the brass. Shade is not new, a few marks. Rewired to US standards. Shade: 19"dia. x 12"H. Lamp without harp: 22.5"H.
