circa: late 1800s
A charming copper and brass bucket with large pour spout, French late 1800s. Bright copper body with a wide brass band at the bottom and second, slimmer band under the top rim. The wide spout is copper, as well as a lightly molded handle at the back seam. A second swinging handle at the top is made of iron. The inside has a dark patina and stepped measuring tabs, perhaps for use as a milk pail or something similar. Curved inner bottom. Will be nice for utensil storage, waste bin or planter, 8.75" inner diameter.
Condition: Good antique condition. Fair amount of age discoloration as well as some subtle dents. It has a little forward tilt and a separation at the back of the top lip.
