A tall and slanted copper ewer with classical styling by Villedieu Gaor, France circa 1950. Elongated in form with a very tapered base and gently molded foot. The spout is tall with a wide mouth. A long, graceful handle connects the spout with the shoulder of the urn, at which point there is a heavily decorated repousse band with flowers and acanthus leaves set against a textured background. The piece has lovely color and is marked on the bottom.
Condition: The ewer is slanted. Age appropriate tarnishing. One dent at spout.
