circa: 20th century
A handsome aluminum champagne bucket advertising Dry Monopole by Heidsieck, 20th Century French. Tall, tapered form with a straight rim. Two sets of incised lines add light adornment, one set is a couple inches up from the base, the other is a couple inches down from the rim. Either side has a silvered knob handle with a free-moving ring at its center. A metal plaque is displayed on both sides with Heidsieck & Co inside of a blue band and Dry Monopole Champagne along with a crest and smaller text. This piece would make a wonderful utensil holder, planter, or waste bin in addition to its intended use as an ice bucket.
Condition: Some scratches on metal.
