circa: Early 1900's
A whimsical umbrella holder in the form of a brass boot, French circa 1900. Brilliant hammered brass is shaped into a low-heeled boot with a tiered, widening leg. The rim flares out and there is a handle attached at the ankle, as well as a small loop under the rim at the back. Fully functional as an umbrella stand, this piece will bring interest and style to any doorway.
Condition: Very good. Minor discoloration on brass.
