  • We work with shipping companies that are bonded, insured and specialists in handling antiques, high value items.
  • Pieces are evaluated to determine whether they should be crated, boxed or blanket-wrapped to ensure safe delivery.
  • Packing and shipping are at the customer’s expense.
  • For a shipping quote, provide your zip code and the inventory number of the item you wish to purchase. 
  • All shipping quotes include packing, insurance and curbside delivery, unless otherwise specified. In-home delivery and unpacking can also be bid.
  • After you have approved a shipping quote, the shipping company will contact you for payment and details regarding shipping and estimated time of arrival.
  • Once we know you have received your purchase, we will contact you to make sure you were satisfied with the shipper’s services.

On Hold/On Approval Policies

We will gladly place items "on hold" for you for 48 hours to allow you time to consider your purchase. After that time, Négrel Antiques will contact you.

If you'd like to see a piece in its destined environment before you purchase it, you can take the item out "on approval" for 48 hours. To do so, you will simply fill out our release form and provide us with either a check for the full amount or a credit card number as a deposit. If the piece needs to be delivered to your home by professional movers, the cost of delivery will be at your expense, as will the cost to return the piece if you decide not to keep it.
