A French pitcher in white ceramic with painted red trim and gilt details, circa 1950. Charming proportions, with a round belly and wide mouth. Cranberry red trim lines are painted throughout, including around the base, inside and outside the profile of the mouth, at the junction of the neck, and accenting the handle. The curved handle is subtly molded with painted red embellishments detailing the raised scallops, adding stylized palms and outlining the edges. Little hits of gilt work add the final touches, with a thin band at the neck and various spots along the handle.
Condition: Very good.
