A vintage ceramic pitcher decorated in cherry motif from the Digoin Factory, France circa 1950. The mold-pressed ceramic form has a wide mouth with spout, wider bottom, single handle at the back and raised cherry branch decoration on either side. Green and deep pink glaze is applied over the cherry embossment, with a clear glazed creamy stoneware base. Stamped underneath for Digoin & Sarreguemines factory in France. Would also make a nice vase or utensil holder.
Condition: Very good vintage condition. A little minor discoloration inside the pitcher and a small chip under the pour spout. Slight imperfections in the stoneware and glaze, original to the piece.
