A lovely round hand-painted ceramic pitcher from the Segries factory in Provence. The faience pot has a short, round form with a thin lip and spout and a grooved handle at the back. White ground glaze throughout is hand decorated by a delicately painted bouquet on one side and a single stem flower on the other. A thin blue band traces the contour of the rim and along the slight pedestal base. Painted mark underneath identifies the Segries factory in Moustiers, Provence. Will make a wonderful little creamer pot or diminutive vase.
Condition: Very good condition with chips, cracks or glaze loss.
