An antique green glazed terracotta confit jar from Provence, circa 1900. Terracotta form with a narrow base, round belly, lightly cinched neck below a flared rim, and two small handles at the top. Aside from the base, the piece is fully glazed in a rich, deep green, with areas of pooled and running glaze lending a darker tone. Will make a lovely vase or storage piece.
Condition: Very good. Some light marks and areas of glaze loss, appropriate for its age and use.
