A blue and white pitcher and bowl from the Sarreguemines Ceramic factory in Eastern France, circa 1920. White ceramic with indigo printed images of various flowers, detailed foliage and a single delicate butterfly. The wide bowl has foliate decoration printed both inside and out. The pitcher has broad decoration across its belly. This ensemble is signed "Beconia" and has floral and butterfly decorations. Bowl is 10.25" dia. x 4.75" H. Pitcher is 9.75" H x 8.50" dia.
Condition: Very good. Appropriate age wear with some age stains, discoloration and a small hairline crack at bottom of pitcher.
