A Louis XV style rolling bar cart with removable glass tray top in natural oak, circa 1940s. Top and bottom have scalloped edges with deeply incised accenting trim lines. The top shelf bears the LXV shell carved in relief at the center of each side. Turned baluster legs connect to curved feet with relief carved acanthus overlay. Metal wheels with rubber tread swivel for ease of movement. The tray top is removable, with scalloped edges and a generous handle on either side. The oak is bare with attractive grain color variation. without the tray, the cart measures 26.25" tall. The tray itself is 27" wide, 17" deep and 3.5" tall.
Condition: Great vintage condition. The wheels roll smoothly. Some light scratches throughout the glass tray top, typical for age and use.
