A lovely French Art Deco era desk lamp with frosted glass shade, circa 1930. Silver metal stand with molded base and a straight central shaft accented by molded ring decoration near the middle. A delicately curved metal rod arm attaches perpendicularly to the shaft, its height and depth is adjustable by way of a pair of tightening screws on either side of the connecting piece. At the end of the arm there is a metal claw marked "C M". It clasps the frosted tulip shaped glass shade, complete with ruffled edges and rippled surface texture. The lamp holds a 60 watt candelabra bulb. A thin metal hoop is connected to the round finial at the top of the stand.
Condition: Very good vintage condition. Some tarnishing on the metal finish, mostly on the pole. A slight dent on the molded metal base.
