A generously sized pink granite top bistro table with scrolled iron base, from the 1920s. The iron base has a wonderful age patina with a grayish green tone. Scrolled feet and scrolls at the top are bridged by sinuous curves, punctuated by a simplified fleur de lis and leaf motif near the bottom. An elegant X-stretcher connects the two legs. A large beveled edge piece of granite is attached to the base, more ample than standard bistro table tops. The pink granite looks to be Juparana Pink from India. Light to mid-tone pinks dotted with white and swept with copious bands of spotty balcks and grays. The piece would work well indoors and out.
Condition: Good vintage condition. The iron base has some rusting and general aging. The granite is not original. Minor age wear on granite.
