A distinctive Art Nouveau iron bistro table with purple marble top, French circa 1900. Painted forged iron base, floating marble top. The legs have classic art nouveau styling, with looping scrollwork and sinuous lines. An encircled star graces the inside of each leg. Two horizontal stretchers are braced with flat diagonal bands. The rectangular marble top has round corners and full bullnose edges. A dazzling array of deep purples and reds set against a multi-toned purple background is punctuated by shafts of bright white veining. Great for indoor or outdoor use.
Condition: Good antique condition. Couple of cracks on one leg, does not affect the structure. Base was repainted, some chips and a few spots of rust. Natural light pitting along the marble surface.
