A classic vintage iron and marble bistro table, French circa 1920. White marble top over a forged iron base. The base has elegantly scrolled support arms and scrolling legs resting on little pedestal feet. Sunflowers are cast into the iron at the connection with the lower stretcher, concentric ring decorations where the top stretcher connects. The outsides are marked with the name of the foundry and city, Baraduc in Clermont-Ferrand, the insides have the patent mark and a dainty circled star. Extra support arms sit over the top stretcher, helping to hold the white marble top. Attractive gray veining and speckling throughout the stone. The marble has three rounded edges with a rough, flat back edge, possibly an old furniture piece and suitable for use against a wall.
Condition: Good vintage condition with minimal rusting on the iron. Marble has some dings along its edges, some superficial scratches and light staining on top, expected with its age and use.
