A decorated vintage wrought iron and smoked glass table with shelf, French circa 1940. Hand wrought iron frame with copious scrolls and tight twists supporting a rectangular smoked glass top. The legs are long, symmetrical scrolls joined by smaller scrolls. A center shelf made of twisted scrolls nestled into a frame also acts as a stabilizing stretcher. The smoked glass top rests inside a twisted iron frame. A dark green patina throughout the piece shows touches of copper coloring at its edges and wear points, giving interesting tonal variation.
Condition: Great vintage condition. Some scratches on the glass surface.
