A swanky painted iron and opaque black glass coffee table attributed to Jaques Adnet, circa 1955. Black iron bars bent into X-form legs are punctuated at top and bottom by brass balls, swinging brass loops pierce the upper balls. A single black bar connects the X-form legs at the center, and an opaque black glass top is seated inside of an L-shaped iron frame joined near the top of the X-form legs. Minimalist style with a decidedly vintage air, it will be at home in a variety of settings.
Condition: Good vintage condition. Some wear on the paint, typical for its age, very slight bend on one leg. The glass surface has many fine superficial scratches throughout and one corner with a small chip.
