A chic mid-century Venetian mirrored glass vanity table, circa 1950s. This table boasts confident angles and strong lines. Scalloped bevel cut edges trim the glass, which has a scalloped front profile and set back, angled sides, along with a stylish back mirror with incurvate sides. Ornamental glass rosette screws add interest to the mirrored surfaces. A large stylized glass blossom with copper elements serves as a knob for the drawer. Elegantly angled and tapered tiger maple legs support the table and add a touch of warmth to the piece. Brass sabots cap the dainty legs. The back mirror is removable. Floor to apron is 21.25", the table top is 25.75". The drawer interior measures 11.75" wide, 12" long and 1.5" deep.
Condition: Very good vintage condition. Remarkably few and small superficial scratches to the mirrored top, four small areas of silvering loss on top. Some areas of light discoloration on sides and front, including a band of light gold fogging on drawer front. One small inner chip to glass at the left side.
