French Counter Scale in Walnut with Brass Plateaux <p>A French counter scale in warm walnut and brass, circa 1880s. The scale is made of walnut wood, each side has a simple thin inlaid square of lighter toned wood. Either side has a glass front dial with a decorative brass ring. The two plateaux are brass. Very clean lines and beautiful patinas on both wood and brass. The piece hails from the Usine de la Mulatiere, near Lyon.</p>

Condition: Very good. Minor age appropriate wear on wood and discoloration on brass.
