A sizable French Colonial style beechwood bamboo mirror, circa 1920s. Meticulously turned beechwood emulates large bamboo stems, joined at the corners with extended angled ends. Great attention was spent staining the wood to ressemble bamboo, including darkening the nodes. The piece retains its original glass and can be hung vertically or horizontally.
Condition: Some light scratches on the mirror glass and small areas of faded silvering. Some wood chips are present on most of the corners and a few small chips along the front of the frame's top.
