A Napoleon III period small rectangular mirror in a carved gilded wood and plaster frame, France circa 1870. The elaborately decorated frame has a beaded rope outer edge and small carved scallop inner trim. Relief carved corners showcase acanthus and scalloped medallions, with outstretching raised floral motif. The mirrored glass is original and has beautiful aging. Wooden backing with wire hanger.
Condition: Good antique condition with appropriate aging on the gilt surface. Numerous age spots and some silvering loss on original mirror.
