A mid-century giltwood sunburst mirror, French circa 1950. At the center is a 4.75" mirror framed by a raised gilt rim with two rows of beading. Extending from this rim are sixteen broad rays of alternating lengths, eight at 7" and eight at 5", all having raised lines running the length of the ray. The piece rests against the wall at its outer reaches and projects outward at its center, giving depth and added interest. Great as a stand alone piece or as part of a gallery wall, due to its size.
Condition: Very good. Minor discoloration on wood.
