French Traveling Trunk, Early 1900s <p>A wonderful antique traveling steamer trunk in poplar and oil cloth, circa 1900. Poplar frame covered dark brown oil cloth with leather trim, brass fittings and pine slats. The corner joints and hardware are all aged brass, contrasting nicely against the rich brown of the cloth and leather. The pine slats have a lovely age patina. Heavy leather straps for side handles. Original paper fully lines the interior, with pale blue and cream patterning. Pink crossed ribbons are tacked up under the lid to store papers and other flat items. Will make a great coffee or occasional table.</p>

Condition: Good antique condition with age appropriate wear including some tears on the oil cloth at top, worn handles and corners. Expected aging and wear on the interior liner.
