French Louis XIII Style Confiturier Cabinet in Walnut, 19th Century

A 19th century Louis XIII Style walnut confiturier jam cabinet, French circa late 1800s. This striking storage piece is comprised of walnut wood with a pine back and bottom. Decorations include paneled and lightly molded sides, extended molded bottom trim, carved bun front feet, and a wonderfully dimensional diamond motif molded front door. Original iron lock with skeleton key and decorated escutcheon, and original iron hinges. The cabinet holds one nonadjustable pine shelf with a depth of 18.25".
Condition: Good antique condition with age appropriate wear throughout and some fills. Restoration with veneer walnut above the door, small restoration beside the door, and an age crack at the top.
