A tall, sleek three door cabinet in Neoclassical style by designer Maurice Hirsch, circa 1950s. Glossy black varnished ebony with gilt decoration along the trim and three dimensional panels creates a decadent air of Hollywood Regency style. Each of the three doors have paneled arches and elegant ring-handled keys for the functioning locks. Simple plinth base and slightly projected top profile. The interior compartments all have three shelves, all 12" deep. Either side compartment measures 17" wide, the central one is 21.5" wide.
A matching dinning table and a set of 4 chairs are available.
Condition: Good condition. A few tiny dents and minor discoloration on the lacquer, including a one inch round spot on top. Minor losses on the gilding. Two thin age cracks on the raised decoration, one at top on right door, one on left door.
