A swanky vintage pair of Veronesi Armchairs in mid century atomic era style, Italy circa 1960. Clean lines and angled design give the chairs a laid back feel, but the bright and crisply contrasting upholstery keeps them looking sharp. The frame is darkly stained mahogany, with streamlined arms over gently curved supports, and flat, tapered spike legs. Wide seats and backs are covered in the original red vinyl leatherette with contrasting cream piping that accentuates the clean lines. Nailhead trim around the back and either side of the arms is painted cream to match the piping. Very comfortable. Seat height is 17", depth is 18.5”.
Condition: Great vintage condition. Some scratches and dings on the arms, a few on the feet. One small piece missing under the corner of one armrest. A little paint loss on the nail head trim. Upholstery is in great condition.
