A stylish vintage sofa or settee in anise green upholstery and ebonized wooden feet, France circa 1940s. The sofa echoes late Art Deco design motifs with its rounded channel back and curved armrests. A slight angle at the back contributes to the Deco style. Lightly curved back legs and tapered square, molded front feet are ebonized for contrast. The right side armrest is collapsible and can be adjusted in 6 different positions ranging from upright to level flat for more lounging space. Floor to seat: 19.75". Priced as is - sofa is sturdy but could be re-sprung and reupholstered. Two upholstery tears in the front from loose springs and a stain at the back.
Condition: Generally good vintage condition. Unless you like the vintage flair, the sofa is sturdy but should be resprung and reupholstered. Two upholstery tears in the front from loose springs and a stain at the back.
