A large ottoman in the Louis XVI style, circa 1900s, that was found in the South of France. The frame is beechwood, painted white with gold accents on legs, with cabled fluting and rosettes at die joints. The textured fabric is a neutral cream tone with a light sheen. Double welt cord detailing connects the base and seat. Great size and proportions, comfortable seating.
Condition: Very good. Some fading on paint and gilt. New upholstery.
