A pair of fancy vintage French Art Deco bridge chairs, circa 1930. High Art Deco shines through on the light-toned birchwood frames. The arms rest on tapered legs capped with a carved set of three graduated concentric rings. The back legs are square, and have a subtle curve. A stretcher sits high on either side between the front and back legs. The seat backs are connected with a triangular shaped birch board and flare out a touch at the top, complimenting the frames. Wide seats and backs are upholstered in a light brown vinyl with a raised shagreen pattern. Floor to seat: 18".
Condition: Very good vintage condition. Some slight cracks and discoloration, nicks here and there on the wood, typical for age and use. Newer upholstery is in great condition.
