A very sturdy solid oak painted buffet cabinet, French circa 1920. Originally designed for commercial use, the buffet is all oak and built to last. The molded top is stained dark brown with canted edges and molded trim underneath. A complimentary neutral toned cream ceruse finish on the cabinet base lets the wonderful oak grain show through. Paneled sides and back; doors have molded trim surrounding the inset panels. Three drawers at the top with aged iron drawer pulls that match the stained top. Plinth base with canted edges to match the cabinet and top. One non-adjustable shelf in the interior, which is 19" deep.
Condition: Very good near antique condition. One age crack on top, visible crack at bottom right door. Replaced hardware on drawers. Original functioning lock on cabinet. Some light marks and scratches on the surface and elsewhere, to be expected for its age and use. Distressed ceruse paint finish.
