circa: Early 1900s
An oval shaped green glass bonbonne bottle, Beaujolais region of France circa 1900. Dark green hand blown glass was mold pressed with a seam running around the belly up the sides towards the long neck. The number 12 is raised on one side, 10 on the other. The glass is full of the bubbles and ripples common to hand blown glass, giving it great texture and interest.
Condition: Very good antique condition. Some light superficial scratches and a little wear on the bottom, all typical for its age and use. Pontil mark on the underside is a little rough.
