A vintage Italian caramel candy tin with printed image of a musician, circa 1940s. The silver metal rectangular box has a hinged lid, with embossed arabesques in a border around the top and embossed acanthus detail around the four sides. Printed black stipples and linework accentuate the embossing, and a black printed image of a lute playing pantalooned man decorates the lid. The bottom has embossed lettering indicating the brand, Giulio Pagliarini & Co, established in 1897.
